By entering the Art Club space, you agree to abide by our policies and consent to the disclosure terms.

Entry Policies and Safety

Visitors are required to show their ID and have their bags checked before being wrist-banded.

We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our visitors. We have a zero-tolerance policy for verbal or physical harassment, discriminatory or threatening behavior, or any interference with the experience of others.
We reserve the right to eject any person acting unacceptably or inappropriately.

We reserve the right to terminate membership for any members deemed to have exhibited behavior that would compromise public safety.

Prohibited Items and Bag Policy

For the safety and comfort of our guests, we reserve the right to check all bags upon arrival. We reserve the right to prohibit any items and to require visitors to check any bags or items.

We do not allow outside food or beverages, weapons of any kind, glass bottles, flammable substances, and knives of any type.

Museum Etiquette, Respect the Space

Art Club is a museum. Visitors are expected to exercise good museum etiquette.

  • No touching the installations unless otherwise noted.
  • No running, rough play, or disruptive behavior.
  • No smoking, including electronic cigarettes.
  • Please use library voices to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all to enjoy the art.
  • Safety first, do not look directly into the laser beam.

Accompany Children

While Art Club is a family-oriented experience, parents should note that young children may find the darkness or certain light and sound installations to be scary.

We require children under the age of 14 to be accompanied by an adult.

Photography

Visitors are welcome to take photographs for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise noted.

No flash photography or tripods.

Late Policy

Visitors are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time slot.

If you are late, you may be admitted in the following time slot, subject to the museum’s total occupancy and capacity. We are also happy to reissue your ticket for another date or time.

Waiver of Liability and Disclosures

As part of your ticket checkout process, you will complete a waiver of liability. This disclosure is intended to inform visitors about potential risks associated with exposure to flashing lights and high-intensity sound effects that may be part of the exhibits and installations.

  • The audiovisual content in this installation may include intense lighting effects, rapid visual transitions, and varying sound frequencies. These elements can cause temporary sensations of dizziness, disorientation or nausea for sensitive individuals. You are advised to take necessary precautions if you are uncomfortable.
  • Certain individuals are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. The exhibits and installations may include strobe lights, rapidly flashing lights, and high contrast visual patterns. If you or anyone in your party has a history of epilepsy or other photosensitivity related conditions, it is strongly recommended you refrain from visiting Art Club.
  • Participants thought to be unstable or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be admitted to Art Club. Participants who become intoxicated at Art Club are subject to removal by our security team.
  • Due to the complex technology employed in the exhibits, the installations may require unplanned maintenance. This may result in delays for visitors or certain exhibits being closed. Please check our website for any updates on these maintenance periods. All ticket sales are final and the closure of an exhibit shall not constitute grounds for refund.

FAQ

I see that you are sold out online. Can I buy tickets at the door?

We limit the number of tickets sold per hour in order to optimize the guest experience. From time to time, there may be ticket holders who fail to show up for their reserved time slot. There may be additional tickets that open up last minute for any given time slot which will be released through the ticketing platform.

Our customer experience team at the reception will not be able to override the ticketing platform and expand capacity beyond the predetermined limits.

Is Art Club ADA accessible?

Yes, Art Club is fully ADA compliant and welcomes visitors of all backgrounds. Our facility is equipped with elevators and accessible restrooms to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable experience for all guests.

How should I dress for Art Club?

Visitors should wear comfortable shoes. The experience goes down and up two flights of stairs and includes an infinity room. Due to the mirrored floor of the infinity room, our staff will check the bottom of your shoes for cleanliness before admittance to the infinity room.

How long does it take to go through the museum?

Art Club is comprised of 13 exhibits. While visitors can navigate the museum freely, the entire experience will take approximately 90 to 120 minutes.

Are restrooms available?

Yes, we have men’s and women’s restrooms located on Level 1 South, next to Exhibit 6 which is approximately half-way through your journey.

Can I get a refund for my tickets?

All sales are final. We are happy to reissue your ticket for a different date or time if you are unable to make your reservation.

Are there discounts for groups or educational tours?
